The following education professionals are eligible to apply in Dubai:
Teachers in schools or early childhood centres (ECCs)
School Principals and Leaders
Early Childhood Centre Managers
Academic Heads at higher education institutions (HEIs)
Full-time Faculty Members in universities or colleges
Senior Academic or Administrative Leaders in HEIs
These categories are open to both UAE nationals and expatriates working under approved educational institutions licensed by KHDA.
 
															 
															Educators must demonstrate excellence, leadership, and a strong impact in the classroom and community. Below are the updated 2025 requirements:
Higher education faculty must hold at least a Master’s or Doctoral degree (PhD) in their field.
Equivalent professional credentials such as CPA, Chartered Engineer, or Fellowship certificates are also accepted.
Applicants must provide:
Nomination by the school principal or head of department, endorsed by the board or governing body.
Consistent record of student achievement in both internal and external assessments.
Positive evaluations and feedback from students, parents, and school administration.
Contributions to curriculum development, mentoring, or innovative teaching practices.
Higher education faculty should show:
Publications in reputable journals or educational research platforms.
Recognition for research grants, projects, or academic awards.
Participation in conferences, academic events, or creative exhibitions.
Educators who make a significant impact on:
Emirati student performance improvement, or
Students of determination (special needs)
will receive additional consideration during assessment.
Applicants must hold or have been nominated for:
National or international education awards such as the Hamdan Award or Global Teacher Prize.

Teachers and leaders should demonstrate:
Active participation in community or social initiatives.

Proven ability to improve and maintain school performance ratings (for example, through KHDA’s DSIB inspections).

Follow these steps carefully:
Prepare Your Documents
Passport, Emirates ID, and educational certificates.
Experience letters, awards, and research publications (if applicable).
Recommendation and endorsement letters from your institution.
Evidence of achievements, student performance, or community work.
Get KHDA Endorsement
Applications must be submitted through KHDA’s official nomination portal during the application window (Oct 15 – Dec 15, 2025).
KHDA will review and verify the candidate’s credentials.
Apply for the Golden Visa
Once endorsed, applicants can proceed with the Dubai Smart Government portal (GDRFA) or ICP website to finalize the visa process.
Receive 10-Year Residency
Successful applicants receive a 10-year renewable residency visa, including sponsorship benefits for immediate family members.
